How did I decide on the name of our restaurant?
As a child and throughout my childhood I was always fascinated and curious of my Italian roots. I would consistently ask my grandfather about our family origins and the story of how the family immigrated to America. Our roots are in Gamberale, Italy, a village in the province of Chieti in the Abruzzo region. Theodore Falorio was the first generation to come to America in 1902. From that moment I decided that Falorio's was going to be the name of my life's passion, Pizza!. I recently visited Ellis Island with my family and retraced the path my Great Great Grandfather took. Where did I get the skills for cooking ?
From there it was a journey of learning how to make all the sauces and dough and dishes that my mother taught me and I eventually mastered... Thanks Mom!
How did I get the business up and running ?
Next was how would I find the resources, capital and business advice to get Falorio's off the ground. That's where my Dad came in... Thanks Dad!
How did we get our brand logo ?
Finally, you may be wondering how I came up with the logo, well that was the creative genius of my high school classmate Chris. We collaborated and he sketched out the Gangster you see now... Thanks Chris!
